Just for my information, I assume since there are two meters, there are two services from PEPCO, which means there are two separate bills. So what are the service capacities? I would assume the Church is 100 Amp and the Parsonage is 200 Amp, but they both may just be 100 Amp. I assume there are two wires coming up the hill and that there is not just one that splits?? Do the lines feed from the street off of one transformer? Are both lines coming up the hill rated for 200Amp 240 Volts?
So questions to ask Electrician:
Two meters; 2 Services; 2 Bills?
What’s Service Capacity of each structure supplied by PEPCO?
Are there two service wires coming up the hill or one that splits?
What’s the line(s) capacity coming up the hill?
Are lines coming off one transformer or two separate trnasformers?
If its 100 Amp each, we probably need an upgrade but we can do that later, just need to have the above info in the back of my head. Just so everyone understands, during the renovation, this will be upgraded and will be expensive.
I have not heard from Doug Boyland yet.
I can get Doug Boyland to give us a proposal fairly quickly if you want.
Boyland Electric, Laytonsville
He may be covering it in his proposal but if so, it should be stated

Slightly surprised PEPCO is not charging anything
Just an fyi

Are you in love with this electrician, or should we get (or can we get) other quotes, now that he has done all the PEPCO contacts?
Thinking about it:
Power exists at the poles on Wisconsin
Or
Power is to the meters and they are just faulty???
Is Pepco guaranteeing the power through the on site poles to the meter, or are they just guaranteeing the power from the street transformer?
Is this electrician tracking/repairing/certifying (that they are all ok) all the power lines from the street to the meters, and not just from the meter to the breaker box in each structure?
There is a lot of coordination with PEPCO on this if he is placing a temp new meter on a pole outside the Church, but its already in their que. Another electrician can do all of this, but it will take more effort and more time to get a quote.
Is PEPCO charging anything on top of this, or is this contractor the only cost to do this work.
And FYI, (I’ll pull a Hank out here), this is a lot of money for really not that much work depending on some of the answers above ; done this kind of stuff plenty. The Old White House is still on a temp meter on a pole outside the structure. But this contractor has spent time and effort on it already.
Those are my thoughts as much as I’m sure you did not want to hear them.
